Just a random musing. When I watch a tv show or film set in the 70s, I usually cringe when I see the fashion and hair - flowered shirts, crimplene suits. Then there are the bands with their bright colours and satin. And yet, look at any of the old photos of the Eagles and there's nothing worse than an embroidered peasant shirt, or denim shirt worn with denim jeans. If you saw someone wearing something similar these days, you wouldn't think they were going to a fancy dress party.
Random photo, to illustrate my point:

Sorry for the oversized picture but with it being so big, I was able to read Bernie's t-shirt - "Natural Progression". Possibly for the surfboard manufacturer but presumably an inspiration for his later album.
Geez, this sure is hot, hot, hot!!! Don H looks absolutely EDIBLE!!!!! :inlove:
And that Randy is so skinny you just want to squeeze him. :inlove: Then make him a sandwich.
I also love how they would wear their own album T-shirts. It's so cute and you don't see too many bands who have "made it" doing that.
Gotta agree that Henley looks incredible there, and Randy needs a sandwich!

I remember Glenn and Don talking in the doc, saying how fans could relate to them partly because they dressed like them. In the 70's so many bands wore ridiculous outfits no ordinary person would wear. Our guys never "went Hollywood" with their clothing, instead turning heads with their music (and personal good looks)! Yet another reason they are classic!
I always liked their jeans and t-shirts too. Can you imagine our guys in sparkly suits or even, horror, tights?! The very thought makes me
