Yes, I believe he did. He looks cute in the hat!
He also still wore the same bracelet in the On The Border photo shoot as well. I have also noticed it during concert footage/pictures.

But did the chapeau in question originally belong to another band member... http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...psfkvjamcd.jpg
I'm sure I read that they didn't give back all the costumes they had hired and it looks like Bernie could be a culprit.
You have an observant eye, ETG. I don't know if the hat from the desert picture is the same one.

It's possible the hat and bracelet may have belonged to Bernie and he brought them to the photo shoot. Esp. the bracelet--I can't picture that being among the props from the set.:D
Yeah, if the hat in the desert picture is the same as the one in other Randy pics at the desert then I believe it is white or "silverbelly" in color and Bernie's is definitely brown. But it's hard to tell in this black and white picture.
You are probably right Delilah about the bracelet for sure.
How I wish we could go back and ask, don't you?!
Yes, I would- I wonder if Bernie still has the bracelet...and if someone else kept the hat as compensation for a beer poured on his head, lol.

Lol!! I have not seen this picture before. Could be, Delilah could be!
In observance of the 43rd anniversary of "On the Border," here are a couple of pics of Bernie and Gram Parsons, who was memorialized with a tribute on the album.

Saw this on a Gram Parsons fan page. A pic of Bernie and the Burritos. This wasn't a half-bad lineup, either! :D
