Happy Birthday Joe!
What a fantastic man!
Like a fine wine, he's gotten better with age!
Speaking of In The City, here and in the Charlotte, NS review thread, made me think - I really liked it during the LROOE tour when the big screen would show Google Earth quickly panning down to the top of whatever venue they were playing in. I thought that was so cool!
Happy Birthday, Joe, and many more! :birthday:
Thanks for the music!
HAPPY 66TH BIRTHDAY JOE!!!
First of all, I hate that I didn't get a chance to post this yesterday on his real birthday. Thank you for all of your wonderful music and hope you had a wonderful day.
I was at the Verizon Center show in D.C. on Joe's birthday in 2008. I had made a Happy Birthday sign for him, which I was going to hold up for him at certain times during the show. However, I was sitting 2nd row in front of Joe and didn't want to block others view, so I didn't hold it up. The folks around me talked me into going to the center aisle right up front to display the sign during Life's Been Good so Joe could catch the sign on his helmet cam. Sure enough, it worked and got a huge roar from the crowd when they saw it flashed on the big screens.
And gotta say I just love your photoshopping skills, MV and also love Joe's birthday cake. As everybody says ...
He's cool!

Thanks Dreamer!! If you read Joe Vitale's book you'll see the "cut-out men" was something started by Joe & Joe on the road long ago. They did it the old fashioned way, I use photoshop. As you noted. I'm pretty sure my cut-out men were forwarded to Joe. That makes me happy.
I absolutely love your story about the sign. As I've said in the past I'd love to go to a birthday show. I think it's awesome that your sign was spotted by Joe's camera. Hard not to spot it if you were next to the 2nd row!! I know a few from this board went to the show last night. Lucky devils!
Cheers!
Happy Birthday to Joe!
