Ok, for some reason, I haven't been able to get my Animated Avatars to work, I try to direct link from PB, but it comes up with a different link :brickwall:
How can I load an animated avatar? Does the file have to be in a particular format?
You have to upload it to Photobucket, then Paste the Photobucket link to the Edit Avatar, and Upload from different site
yes - it can't be uploaded through the board itself. It has to be from an external link (photobucket or whatever). Remember to keep the width under 150px and the length under 200px!
You have to upload the avatar yourself to a Photobucket account that you've created, then copy the URL of that image, paste it into the line on your avatar editor settings that says
Option 1 - Enter the URL to the Image on Another Website
Even though it helpfully offers http://www in the box, you can paste your URL right over that and disregard it. That's just to help people figure out where they need to put their URL.
Since upgrading to Vista every time I visit The Border, even though it is my home page, I have to enter my user name and password even though I click 'Remember Me' (it's the same with Photobucket). Can I fix this?
ETA: As far as I am aware I have cookies enabled.
I've got Vista on my laptop & I didn't have any trouble getting it to remember me.
