Renato Russo was a Brazilian rock star that came to fame in brazil in 1984 with his band Legiao Urbana. The Band released many sucessful albums until Russo's death in 1996. They sold millions of records in Brazil. Their music was along the lines of The Smiths, U2 a little punk and really their own thing and sound. In 1994 Russo did a solo side project where he recorded well
