The guys were awesome tonight! The crowd was kinda lame, but our guys were unbelievably great. I will post more later, but Don did a fantastic job on Desperado, and Glenn totally nailed New Kid In Town. I will post more tomorrow.

I think the audiences at any MGM show tend to be more subdued than in an arena setting but it doesn't seem to alter their performance. Did they do a full HOTE show or was it a modified setlist?
It was the full show!
Now I'm at a sports bar at mgm to watch the Steeler game, so I'll still post more later. Serious PEW has already set in. I have a horrid feeling the Eagles think they've covered North America with this tour and don't plan to do more. I had tears in my eyes as they played DD/D Reprise, thinking it may be the last I hear that beautiful song live. They did it justice, it was incredible. I'm hoping I'm wrong and they realize they missed a lot of cities and underplayed others!
SO glad to know the Vegas audience got the full HOTE treatment! I was afraid they might modify the show, given the location. I found out about 30 minutes before showtime that another friend (from LA) was there too! Waiting to hear from him about his impressions since he isn't a gigantic fan like us but told me he HAD to see them at least once after listening to me go on and on...so his comments will be interesting. I SO hope you're wrong about future US dates...I really need to see them again! When do you leave for home?
Here is a PRE-show item that was in one of the Vegas papers a few days ago. Fingers crossed that this guy covered the show last night - LOVE his opening line! Still looking for review and photos.

Late afternoon flight tomorrow.
Watching this Steeler game-from-hell is not helping my PEW. Sitting beside fellow Steeler fan who flew in for concert...drowning our sorrows...
So glad they did the full show and were as good as ever. Can't wait to hear more!
First I'd like to say I was lucky enough to upgrade my seat, I had front row, center section, on the aisle. The seat beside HH was empty throughout the first set and so HH talked to security and he said I could move to the center of the section, which put me between Glenn and Joe. Awesome!! I love being so close to Joe and watching him play.
