It debuted online today and the lyric is "Watching Glenn Frey sing "Already Gone" at the Forum in L.A. There’s a last time for everything.” The full song is out now on Spotify and I like it. Made me emotional hearing that though.
Thanks for letting us know about this. I'm buying the song right away.

I get a similar feeling watching the "Take It Easy" performance from California Jam. Glenn's face lights up in a beautiful smile when he hears the crowd cheer in recognition of the song's opening bars.
Re: Remembering Glenn Frey
I love moments like that, too. So spontaneous and cute!
Re: Remembering Glenn Frey
Thanks for the link to Brad Paisley's song, Shun. Fabulous! I like Brad even more now!
Re: Remembering Glenn Frey
Joe posted this video. Watch the video very close. You will notice someone in the band and a certain famous instrument.

Preparations for the Classic East / West shows maybe.
All Of A Sudden the puzzling Tom Petty support shows begin to make sense.
Re: Remembering Glenn Frey
That's rather exciting. I know Deacon has played with his father on a few gigs but playing the Classic shows is a huge step up. Getting some practice on tour in a supporting role with Joe as a mentor seems a great way of gaining experience. Also, looking at him there with the long hair and Old Black, I can see why Don and Timothy would smile at the thought of him.

What memories they have!
Re: Remembering Glenn Frey
Such a great surprise seeing Deacon in the vid and playing Old Black. :D As I wrote in the other thread on Joe's section I'm even more excited to see Joe & Tom in June. This is going to be great for Deacon and great mentors to have.
