I'd been following him for awhile with no tweets but I'm glad he is posting now! I just sent him a reply. :hilarious:
I wondered, I don't have a Twitter account, but it dropped into my FB news feed like it was a new thing, and it was definitely a recent first tweet.
Yeah, this is his first tweet. I guess Tim taught him how to do it, lol. I can see them now, sitting side by side at Heathrow, tweeting away!
I tweeted him too. I wonder if he knows how to read the tweets to him! lol
...and this Tweet from Joe.....

That is too adorable!
It wouldn't load for me so perhaps someone could post it in Walsh Worship. Thanks.
Actually, it has already been posted there.
No, the one with the big bunny that TBF posted!
Does Australia not have an "Easter bunny" tradition?
I'll just post it again here:

Joe and the Easter Bunny! That is cute! And thanks Joe, for tweeting, even though I don't. Glad you all brought it over here! Thanks!
Now I am really embarrassed because I missed that one completely.
That is a very sweet photo & yes, we do have Easter bunnies etc here.
What a cute Photo!
Joe, you are so cool! Love it!
I didn't see this one here--it's from Apr 8th:

Short and sweet but we know they're there!
Oh my gosh. I love this!
new tweet from Joe...Quote:
Survived a major sandstorm Almost had to cancel the show but it cleared enough to play Departing Dubai for LA. Leave a camel in the window
That would have been awful if they'd had to cancel. Thank goodness it cleared up. Hope the guys have a nice flight home!
"Leave a camel in the window." ......That Joe...he's so funny!
That was the first message I had this morning when I woke up and I started laughing at the "leave a camel in the window", hubby thought I was nuts at 4:00 in the morning. :hilarious:
The man has such an off-the-wall sense of humor!

I bet they stayed at the Burj. It's Dubai's self-proclaimed "seven star hotel." lol
That "camel in the window" joke was a hoot!
And they flew Emirates (I recognise the uniform). We investigated going with them when we went to the UK but they were too expensive.
'Stewardess, could you get me another gin & tonic? No, not for me, I don't drink any more.....'
It's great to see Joe tweeting and reading them!

It's hard for fans, of course, but even harder for people who actually knew and worked with the man. This is especially true as with each friend that passes, their own mortality looms larger.
I think it's lovely that Joe tweeted a mini-tribute to his friend. While Twitter can be used for silliness, at times like these it can also be used to connect on a more serious level.
That tweet is beautiful, such simple words make a moving tribute.
I want to know what this one's all about. :hilarious: It just came over a few minutes ago.

Heck, he could keep tweeting long after he's finished promoting his album just for the fun of sharing the Walsh wit with the world. I know I would be entertained!
This one came yesterday afternoon but I didn't get a chance to post it. There was a picture in the Vegas thread regarding this but I don't see it here yet so...

Well, email is somewhat out of date for those who social network... but I have a feeling a lot of Joe's audience doesn't do that, lol.
Still, it would indeed be hilarious to hear something like that. He'd need to make "Tweets" two syllables, though. Hmm. Maybe "They send me tweets now - tell me Glenn's great!" (He would have to be sure and leave Don out of this scenario, due to Don's rabid hatred of social networks.)
Well - I wouldn't be at all surprised if Joe changed up those lyrics again to update them. He could even say they friend him on Facebook to tell him Glenn's great.
And woah - "rapid hatred" is pretty strong language, Soda. I'm not sure exactly how Don really feels about social networking, but that's a little harsh. Even if he strongly dislikes it, I doubt if he feels hatred toward them. JMHO
