London Attacked
Dearest Annoying Twit, UTW, JCL and all others residing in England, please accept our love for you from the USA and understand that we are desperately sad about the terror attack this morning in London. We extend our deepest sympathies at the callous waste of precious life.
Take good care.
LuvTim

Re: London Attacked
My sympathies here also. I hope you are all ok.
Thoughts and prayers for those hurt and killed and your country.

Re: London Attacked
Thank you for your post. I don't want to say anything political as this point. So, I'll just agree that our thoughts should be with the victims, and their loved ones.

Re: London Attacked
Thank you for your kind thoughts.
It's a further demonstration of how everyday items can be turned into weapons. Even so, this is still a safe country.

Re: London Attacked
My thoughts and prayers are with you all in the UK too and especially the victims' families. We've seen so many of these types of attacks in the US and in other countries recently over the past couple years. It even happened here in my city Columbus at Ohio State University last fall as a student tried to do the exact same thing but the campus police were able to stop him from killing anyone, though others were injured but recovered.

Re: London Attacked
At the end of the Duran Duran concert last night, Simon Le Bon spoke about the tragedy and extended his sympathies to the victims and their families. He said they were sort of used to it due to the bombings in the UK during the 70s but said we must not give in or give up. He then dedicated Save a Prayer to "all of us."

Re: London Attacked
Thank you all for your kind thoughts. I have been to London many times over the years and have never had any problems, nor in Liverpool or any of our other major cities. Big cities will probably always be dangerous to some extent but it's always horrible when things like this happen. My thoughts are with the victims of the attack.

Re: London Attacked
Still not sure if it's appropriate, but I say this:
What terrorists want is to cause fear, but also social division. If the terrorists get what they want, they win. It's important to remember that the vast majority of people, of all communities, abhor terrorism. Refusing to give in to hate and fear is what we need to do at a time like this.
