I was reminded of Lou recently when I dealt to an older couple at work. They're from England, west of London, and have been living in Oklahoma for 42 years. They were so nice and lovely to talk to.
Lou, we miss ya here in OK. You need to come back and visit us again soon.
Aw! As soon as I can - I promise. I miss you too.
While looking for a restaurant close to the place where the tribute band is playing tomorrow, I came across Dreamers Diner. Guess who I thought of?
Here's a hint - it starts with a K and ends with an AY!
Good one, Pm!
Hmmm - I have no idea who that could be PM, but I'll bet Dreamers Diner's food is ... er ... dreamy! :headbang:
I immediately thought of Willie when I saw the Sweet was apart of a music fest that took place in OKC this past weekend. I knew that music festival was going on but i didn't realize that Sweet was there until Sunday when someone was telling me about all of the bands that played there.
Aww-the American version--Steve Priest (the original bassist) Sweet. There is this Sweet and Andy Scott's (original guitarist) Sweet in Europe.
Did that someone happen to say whether they liked them or not? From what I've been hearing, they do a pretty darn good job. Especially Joe Retta, the lead singer, who isn't to rough on the eyes either!!!
Brooke's new avi reminds me of Ticky & Prettymaid. :hmm:
I know! I always think for a second it's PM posting but then I do a double take and realize it's Brooke. lol
