Very true, he's a special guy.
No, not even. The closest I've come is singing little ditties to my kids when they were babies; I'm not even sure if the melodies were original. When I woke up from that dream, the tune was still in my head, and I thought about trying to jot down some notes about it, but I was too tired and fell back asleep. Of course, now it's forgotten!:sigh:
Possibly the last pictures of Randy performing.

Wow, good work on finding the dates and places, D.
Is it unrealistic, am I living in a fool's paradise, am I building castles in the air to think that *maybe* there's a tiny spark of hope that Randy could make a guest appearance at the Eagles' Classic West show? He may or may not be able to play or sing anymore, but he could shake a maraca or rap a cowbell.
It's been said that Randy's mic wasn't turned on at the Rock 'n Roll HOF "jam" performance.
But then... maybe that would be too sad, after all.
Thanks, NMB.
As far as Randy being at the Classic West concert, I don't even allow myself to hope. How thrilling it would be though, for him to walk on stage, give a wave, and maybe say a few words about Glenn? I bet hearing the applause from devoted, knowledgeable fans would do him a world of good.
It's sad to know it's been almost 10 years since this talented man has performed on stage. But of course, his health and well-being are far more important than meeting the demands of his fans.

Here are a couple more from the Houston show at The Summit.

Yes, I believe he was...
I checked out the site (that I think you found these on) lots of cool pictures out there! Loads of entertainers and venues.
Yes, the Rockin Houston website has a lot of cool pics. There are some pre-Eagles pics of Don Felder too. The Summit pictures are nice--I attended several concerts and saw the Rockets play there too. Now it's the location of Joel Osteen's mega-church.
