SOMETHING unexpected happened part-way through The Eagles' set at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre last night and the crowd loved it. Glenn Frey told a story about writing Lying Eyes - that was good, earlier tours by the reformed band didn't have much of that at all.
Then Don Henley took the lead on Boys of Summer – but that was a solo hit, not an Eagles one remember.
Ummm....OK?
And for the record (and you all expect me to do this now)..... Timothy's name was spelled wrong again!

I know Willie - that headline grabbed me too. But none of that is new to us! :hilarious:

LOL! Stop the presses everybody - this is front page news!
Maybe the guy was just excited that Glenn didn't tell the Plaintiff joke again (presumably).

I doubt the reviewer's knowledge is that extensive. That was a pretty ordinary review.
(We got Plaintiff on the last night in Sydney).
One of the comments mentioned 'Steve' Smith.... and did you also notice the specific mention of New Kid In Town & Tequila Surnrise as 'missing' songs. Better comments than Perth, overall (except for the one about 'forget LROOE').

YES! Now I know the pale lilac shirt was at least worn somewhere else in Australia! Thanks Steph!
Although the captions state that the photos are in Melbourne on December 17, not Brisbane.
