Re: Postcards From Paradise
Thanks for that link, F50.
I like it - The melody is a bit flat, but I'm loving the clever lyrics ... it's almost like I've heard them somewhere before. :thumbsup:
Re: Postcards From Paradise
I'm losing my touch!
If I recall correctly, Joe co-wrote one song and played guitar on a second track on Ringo's new Postcards From Paradise album.
I'm sure Bridges is one. My finely honed, Joe Walsh radar, isn't giving me clear signals as to the 2nd.
Early favourites are; Rory And The Hurricanes and Touch And Go.
You can listen here I think;

And it's released today! I'll be checking it out.

I don't think Joe plays on this particular track but if you are/were a Beatles fan, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I Love it!
I suppose great songs are Postcards From Paradise :)
Well it is Joe playing the solo on the album's title track. As Ringo confirms;

"Postcards from Paradise" is written by Ringo and Todd Rundgren.
"Bridges", that had the working title of "Claps" was written and played by Joe and Ringo.
I'm enjoying Ringo's new album but thus far I prefer his previous two albums.
It could still grow on me.
18 Hours... Wow!
