Re: Remembering Glenn Frey
From a new interview with Jack Tempchin:
Quote:
“He was a stand-up guy,” Tempchin said of Frey, adding he was one of the “very few people in my life I can say was always honest and followed through. He was also the funniest guy, just a really fabulous person.”

(the rest of the interview is the usual story about how he wrote PEF)

Excerpt
And although we never met them
We never will forget them
Sometimes we cry
When a perfect stranger dies
When a symbol of the best of us
Says goodbye to the rest of us
I think we grieve
Because they make us believe
That we can all be heroes ...

Thank you Magnolia. A fellow Borderer told is about this remarkable singer/songwriter/musician Ryan McIntyre who performed at a concert they attended. I'm terribly sorry I don't recall the original poster's name nor was I able to find the post searching. Perhaps he/she will see this and let us know.

I don’t remember seeing this before and I don’t know when the photo was taken. 95.5 The Mountain is a radio station in Phoenix and operated by iHeart radio.
