Brooke, your doll is beautiful - I can just imagine how much she means to you.
I'm sorry that I missed your last contribution to this thread, i.e. your pictures of the Fabulous Fox theatre in St Louis. Wow, very impressive indeed.

Now I know why I've been going through so much bird seed!

I love your little bird house, too!
Thanks! It was funny when I was trying to discreetly get this picture. He kept sliding down the pole and would hang on the feeder, hind legs dangling!
I love squirrels, too, Mrs. F, until they eat the corn and tomatoes in my garden before I can get them! We have so many where we live that they can be a nuisance! They are supposed to stay in the hickory and oak trees. But we had a late freeze last spring and there weren't many hickory nuts or acorns, so I kind of feel sorry for them.
That's a cute picture, Brooke! We have had one little squirrel in our back garden after hazelnuts from a tree in our back hedge. he was busily burying them in the lawn, so we'll have some interesting seedlings in the spring! He hasn't discovered our bird feeders - they are at the front. Your little birdhouse is sweet.
So cute Brooke! And I love the little bird house. Seriously though its awful that if Winter has come early or if the weather is harsh the poor little creatures in the wild can go hungry.
This is Padstow, a little fishing village on the north coast of Cornwall. It's at the end of the cycle trail we did the other day, and it's where I did some of my general practice training. Nowadays it's better known for Rick Stein's seafood restaurant.

We left our bikes in Padstow and walked along the cliffs to this beach. In summer it would be a bit busier. The estuary is the river Camel.
