This is great quality ... young TBS with Poco.

Awww, thanks for that LTL. One of my favorites from Poco and I love Timothy's enthusiastic face when he sings and his boyish good looks. I also love the head tilt right around 2:40 on the last "JUST.... for me and you"!
those were some great videos. i was feeling a little nauseous after being dragged to the fish market this afternoon but what do you know after that I'm feeling so much better. (though the sight of buffet wearing shorts set me back a few notches) Timmy has a beautiful voice, and what do you know it's just what the doctor ordered:thumbsup:.
Glad you guys liked those last couple. Also, welcome from me too Skibum. I really enjoy watching Timothy and Richie singing together. To me, they are dead on with each other... as if only one voice is singing... I'm always impressed with that. Also, young Timothy is so adorable, I can never get enough of him!:)
This is from the practice for the show Poco did at the Maverick. TBS at around 1:55... sigh...

This video is from Alex a Poconut ... many thanks to him, as I know several of us were wondering if we'd ever see anything from the Maverick show.

Thanks for posting that!! He just sounds so amazing and it is so good to see him singing that song again!!! That made me very happy first thing this morning!
Just caught this on Youtube
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kH1rRMocWhM[/ame]
I'm at work and I can't see the video. I only get a blank screen. Curious, what video is it?
Poco - Just for Me and You 1972
I'm sorry you just got the blank screen. I had the blank screen for a second but then it went to the video.
Did y'all catch the "dobro" in this one towards the end?
Love it!
I love that song! It's on the only Poco cd I own - The Very Best Of. And Timothy looks so young and cute in the video!
TBSFan... I love that video. Many are the nights I have spent on youtube watching old Poco. I commented on this video in another thread, "timothy videos on youtube" a while back...but I'll repost what I said then:
"I really enjoy watching Timothy and Richie singing together. To me, they are dead on with each other... as if only one voice is singing... I'm always impressed with that. Also, young Timothy is so adorable, I can never get enough of him!"
My very favorite video on youtube is Rose of Cimmeron. When I hear/see TBS hitting the last verse so high, it really gets to me! It's amazing how high he could get and still sound fantastic!
Pretty cool look at a bit of the behind the scenes of Secular Praise. Beautiful song.

Very interesting interview with Tim. More talk about the new album and how it came to be. Tour talk and confirmation that he's going to try for more concerts after Thanksgiving.

Peek, thanks for those! I love them both!
Here's another reason to love youtube

Thanks Peek for those interesting videos!
That interview was really interesting and that New Breed video - wow! What a rarity! Thanks for posting them, guys!
Loved the interview. Quite a coughing fit that poor woman had!
I was fishing around youtube and found a second part to the abc news radio interview. Btw, I had no idea that Timothy came up with the term "Parrot Heads"

Jess, thank you so much! You are really doing a great job finding these! And I forgot to mention from the interview Pt.1 we finally learn where the word Expando comes from! Who would have ever guessed?
That's great Peek - thanks!
In honor of the anniversary of the release of Poco's album Good Feelin' to Know:

Good Feeling To Know is my all time favorite Poco song. I have to admit though that the vocals do not 'blend' as well on this video as they do on my recording. Timothy looks great though!
Great, great, great - I love the interview. :inlove:
That is a great ABC News Radio interview. Thanks for finding that. Jess.
Thanks for posting these Jess. I finally got a chance to watch them this morning. A whole lot of insight to the album. I especially liked it when he was talking about the venues he's played this time and how close the people are to him while he was performing! Oh Yeah!!! :hilarious:Loved them. And the video with the Blind Boys of Alabama just gave me chills (as that song does every time I've heard it so far).
I really enjoyed those interviews too. I've gone back and watched them twice already. It's great to see Timothy doing an interview like this. More please, Timothy.
Shoot! The first part of the interview has been removed! :-x
I did get to watch the 2nd part and the Secular Praise one. Thanks Peek!
Here's one that I think is definitely worth bringing forward...I tend to forget what a huge part Timothy had on Caroline No! This is sort of 'the making of' version but I never tire of hearing the glowing editorial comments about Timothy's contribution! AND CHECK OUT HIS FABULOUS SMILE AT THE 2:30 MARK!!!!! (He really needs to smile more -- melts my heart every time I catch a glimpse)

The Abc radio video part one has been re-posted [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2pvj5iYH3U[/ame]
Great interview! Thanks for finding it again, tf!
That's too funny about where 'expando' comes from. Was it him and Jean that lived in the trailer or before that? Anyone know?
Now Tim, the midwest wants YOU! Please, pretty please?
It's not YouTube, but here's a great clip of Timothy doing "I Can't Tell You Why" acoustic at the KSEG studio after an interview:

Oh My!!!! Thanks for posting Soda. That voice always does something for me but when it's accompanied with nothing other than his guitar.... :faint:perfection!!! Besides he looked soooooooo good there also!
I love the "unplugged" version! Just wish the sound was better.
That is stinkin' awesome acoustic! I didn't realize he was so good on guitar in addition to the bass. ;) Loved it!
