I didn't even know he had dropped WIAN. I just re-read the lyrics & though it talks about self-destruction, Don may as well be proud that he is still here. He has nothing to be ashamed of. What happened is not his fault.
However I totally supported what he did in having that heckler removed, especially as we now know the reasoning behind it.

When you said contest, I thought it was something you could enter and win by luck. Unfortunately for me, this is an auction and you "win" by being the person willing to pay the most. It's up to $3500 as of today. Too rich for my blood.
