Re: Share the Music You Love
Oh, and FP, your photo of Van & Eric reminds me of the Jackson Browne concert (at the same venue.) He joked that he was only able to play there because it was Eric Clapton's night off, and only under the condition that he used some of Clapton's equipment so that he wouldn't have to get rid of the whole set. Eric has done a huge stretch of shows there lately, so JB thanked him for "letting me play in his living room" ;)
Re: Share the Music You Love
That is weird. When I saw Dire Straits and Sting on successive nights back in 1985, Dire Straits were in the middle of a record breaking run of 19 nights at the Sydney Entertainment Centre. Sting joked 'I'd like to thank Dire Straits for letting me use their hall'!
(Come back to Australia, Mark)!
Re: Share the Music You Love
Ah, this seems to be the right thread. I don't know if anyone knows that I'm a KISS Fan. I have been to a concert last year... they are right, I got the best... almost LOL
I've never seen them performing without the makeup but a few days ago I found outstanding videos on youtube, almost a full unplugged concert.
They sound so much better here. I knew Paul is a great singer but I never knew Gene has such a good voice.

I'm thrilled to bits :partytime:...there are many more to watch on the right side.
Re: Share the Music You Love
Silly me, first time I see this Topic, is like a Gold mine to me...
Soda you said:
I couldn't find these!
Baby Blue - George Strait
Sad Eyes - Leo Sayer
Some Kind of Wonderful - The Drifters
The Last in Love - JD Souther
Well, Sad eyes - you will find it under Robert John, who is the correct Artist
The Last in Love - JD Souther You mean you can't find the Song, or the youtube stuff? ( I have it on MP3, as the other ones)...
Gald to help.:computer:
Re: Share the Music You Love
Some Kind Of Wonderful by the Drifters is NOT the song that Glenn plays. Glenn plays the song by Grand Funk Railroad (fellow Michiganders). I have never heard the Drifters song.
Re: Share the Music You Love
Soda does indeed recommend Some Kind of Wonderful by The Drifters on page one of this thread. I had to go to Itunes to hear a snippet of it and I do vaguely remember the song from the movie Dirty Dancing.
Re: Share the Music You Love
I don't really follow American Idol. The only time I watch it is the finale of each season. I came across this song while I was browsing the Itunes store and loved it. I think Adam Lambert has a great voice and I love his version of this song better than the original. After watching the finale and hearing him sing for the first time, I wish I would've watched this season from the beginning.
