Six Degrees of the Eagles
This is a fun thing my friends and I used to do for Fleetwood Mac, and I figure we could do it for the Eagles, too. It's like the game "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" where you could trace any person in Hollywood back to Kevin Bacon with six links. If you're unfamiliar with the game, see my examples to see what I mean.
Feel free to post your own names of people to link to the Eagles... just remember they have to be famous enough so that other people can link them, too!
Some examples involving Harrison Ford:
LINK THE EAGLES to HARRISON FORD

1. Harrison Ford was in Star Wars with Carrie Fisher
2. Carrie Fisher wrote an article where she interviewed Don Henley
3. Don Henley is in the Eagles
--------------------------------------------

1. Harrison Ford was in Working Girl with Melanie Griffith
2. Melanie Griffith was married to Don Johnson
3. Don Johnson co-starred with Glenn Frey in Miami Vice and Nash Bridges

Get the idea?
Can anybody else link the Eagles to Harrison Ford in six degrees or less?

Re: Six Degrees of the Eagles
Here's a fairly simple one although it took me a half hour to research it!
(This stuff doesn't come easily for me!)
1. Harrison Ford starred with Barbara Bach in the movie Force 10 From Navarone.
2. Barbara Bach is married to Ringo Starr.
3. Ringo Starr is the brother-in-law of Joe Walsh.
4. Joe Walsh is one of the Eagles.
Re: Six Degrees of the Eagles
Here's another one...
1. Harrison Ford Starred in the movie Blade Runner.
2. Ridley Scott directed the movie Blade Runner.
3. Ridley Scott directed the 1986 Pepsi commercial starring Don Johnson and Glenn Frey.
4. Glenn Frey is one of the Eagles.
I don't think mine are very embellished.

These are good! You guys definitely have the idea!
Re: Six Degrees of the Eagles
Maybe the new game should be called "Six Degrees of Harrison Ford!"
Re: Six Degrees of the Eagles
LOL! We can attach the guys to anyone! Any suggestions?

Re: Six Degrees of the Eagles
Although I am not following all of the proper rules, please allow me this indulgence--I was so pleased I thought of it on the way to work this am:
Link any Eagle to Eaglesvet:
1. Eaglesvet is Stella B's daughter
2. Stella B's favorite song back in the 60's was "Those Were the Days My
Friend", sung by Mary Hopkin (see 'The Soundtrack of Your Life' thread)
3. Mary Hopkin's song was produced by Paul McCartney
4. Paul McCartney was in the Beatles with Ringo Starr
5. Ringo Starr is Joe Walsh's brother-in-law
6. Joe Walsh is in the Eagles with the rest of the Eagles!! TA DA!!
Re: Six Degrees of the Eagles
Linking the Eagles to Michael Landon...
1. Michael Landon co-starred in Little House on the Prairie with Jason Bateman (he played James Cooper Ingalls).
2. Jason Bateman had the misfortune of being in the incredibly sucky movie Tropic Thunder with Tom Cruise.
3. Tom Cruise was in Jerry Maguire with Glenn Frey.
4. Glenn Frey is in the Eagles.
