I'm definitely a Gene Clark fan love songs such as Tried So Hard Lifes greatest fool, In a Misty Morning etc. Powerful as good as James Taylor for me in terms of singer songwriters.
I'm currently reading the John Einarson biography of Gene. My favorite Byrds songs are written by Clark.
