Abstract: Interesting interview with Frey, Henley, and Meisner where they talk about leaving Glyn Johns, adding Felder, and each other's strengths as band members. It's a very positive interview taken at a moment when the band was poised to become a heck of a lot bigger, unbeknownst to them. Frey expresses insecurities like the fact that he is "afraid to wake up one morning and find I'm not happening anymore" but that Joni Mitchell showed him it's possible to have success in rock'n'roll even when you're past 27.
